Japanese-Style Scenic View Rooms Japanese-Style Scenic View Rooms
These peaceful Japanese-style spaces offer the best views of Matsushima Bay and are the perfect place to kick back and relax.

Baths
Open-Air Bath Happyaku Yashima Open-Air Bath "Happyaku Yashima"
Matsushima Bay is home to so many islands that it is often called "happyaku yashima," or "the place of 808 islands." Happyaku Yashima, named after the place that has long attracted poets and artists, features two types of open-air baths where you can watch the changing faces of the islands. (A sauna is also available).

Hours:
- Women: 1 p.m. - 12 a.m.
- Men: Sunrise - 10 a.m.


Scenic Bath Godaikan Scenic Bath "Godaikan"
The Four Famous Views ("yondaikan") of Matsushima are Ōgitani, Tomiyama, Ōtakamori, and Mt.Tamon, which are known for their wonderful views. From Matsushima Ichinobo's scenic view open-air bath "Godaikan" ("fifth view"), you can enjoy scenery as beautiful as that from the Four Famous Views, from the morning sunrise to the starry night sky.

- Men: 1 p.m. - 12 a.m.
- Women: Sunrise - 10 a.m.


Large Bath Chiga no Taki (Women Only) Large Bath "Chiga no Taki" (Women Only)
You'll forgot the passing of time when you soak in this relaxing bath inside the garden, where you can gaze at falling waterfalls. The spacious facilities, including a dressing room, are equipped with dressers and other features designed to provide women with a comfortable bathing experience.

- Sunrise - 10 a.m.

our water garden
Water Garden
Matsushima Ichinobo's approximately 23,000 square meter water garden features flowering plants that bloom all year round, Matushima's famous pine trees, and a large pond that seems to meld with Matushima Bay. The garden is also home to a chapel with stained glass that was overseen by artist Kyōhei Fujita.
